Demon SteveHow to Deal With a Demon

So, you think you might have something nastier than a creepy old dead guy lurking about your bedside. Don’t worry, I’m going to explain the best way to deal with a demon, or any malevolent spiritual entity for that matter. But first, we need to lay down a few ground rules because when dealing with a demon, knowledge is power!

Fair warning, you may have to check some of your religious beliefs at the door, because…

Demons Don’t Care About Your Religious Affiliation

Believe me when I tell you, if there’s a demon in your house, it doesn’t give a flying flip if you’re a Christian, a Hindu, a Muslim, or a Mega-Vegan member of PETA. This means there’s a good chance that all of your “I cast you out in the Name of (Insert Your Chosen Deity HERE), isn’t going to do you a lick of good. I mean, it might… but it might not.

Why? Because…

Demons Are a Natural Phenomenon

Despite what your religious superiors would have you believe, demons aren’t fallen angels and continuing to think of them as such will only set you back in your efforts.

In my article, “What You Need to Know About Demons,” I explained how spiritual dimensions, including the material plane we humans exist on, are like radio frequencies. Very positive spiritual entities like angels and Spirit Guides, exist on the higher frequency dimensions, whereas very negative spiritual entities like demons, exist on lower frequency dimensions.

We can’t fully access these other dimensions while in our physical bodies (a.k.a. while we’re alive), but we can connect to them through meditation, astral travel, and the like. But just because we don’t have full access to them, doesn’t mean they’re not real, physical places. In fact…

Spiritual Dimensions Are Real Places

If you’re not a science nerd like me, than you may not know that physicists now believe our universe is just one of an infinite number of universes. There are many theories about what the Multiverse is like, but for the sake of this article, let’s use the Braneworlds Theory.”

Some physicists have suggested that our universe may be a sort of flat bubble, with an infinite number of other flat-bubble (membrane) universes stacked above and below our own in layers. Within these other universes, the laws of physics can be totally different. In fact, it’s totally feasible if not probable, that there are conscious entities in these universes which exist on an energetic level without the need for physical bodies.

Quantum theory allows not only for travel between these universes, it also suggests that parallel universes overlap with and frequently interact with our own. When you put all of this together, you start to get a much clearer picture about what might really be going on in lower dimensions of the “spirit world.”

Because we don’t have full access to these dimensions or the entities therein, we humans tend to think of them as “spiritual” or “supernatural.” But these are real places with real conscious entities, some of whom make better house guests than others.

Now, I know what you’re thinking: if demons are natural phenomena and aren’t specific to any particular religious system, then why did my Ouija Board spell out “L-U-C-I-F-E-R” when me and the kids were playing with it on game night?

If your demon referred to itself as (Insert Your Version of the Ultimate Evil HERE), either via Spirit Box, spirit board, or your local Spirit Medium, it was because…

Demons Like to Scare You

Nothing makes a demon happier than when you’re scared out of your wits. Demons feed on your negative emotions, including your anger, your sadness, and your fear.

But especially your fear!

When you step out of the shower to find some ethereal finger has scribed “S-A-T-A-N,” on the bathroom mirror, both your heart and your adrenaline start pumping, converting you into a negative-energy power-plant.

All that sweet, sweet fear is like Demon Crème Brûlée, and every time you fall for its antics, you’re essentially serving up a delicious demonic desert.

I don’t know about you, but if I was offered Crème Brûlée every time I gave someone a good scare, I’d probably be inclined to do creepy stuff all day, too!

When you consider all of this, it becomes clear that the first and perhaps most effective way to deal with a demon is by…

Stop Being Afraid of Demons

It sounds simple enough, but let’s face it: you attended Sunday School and have seen every supernatural horror flick known to man, so I realize it’s much easier said that done.

Well, too bad. If you want to have any chance of living a semi-normal, demon-free life, you’re going to have to overcome your fear, because…

Your Demon Is Probably Attached to Your House

If you remember from a few paragraphs ago, I talked about the layers of dimensions which exist above, below, and within our own. Well, there are places on the earth where the bridge between those dimensions is easier to cross.

Your body has channels of metaphysical or subtle energy which run through it. Where these channels intersect, they create energy vortexes, also known as Chakras. While you have seven major Chakras that run along your spine, you have thousands of smaller ones located throughout your body. The location of these smaller Chakras can be seen in the acupuncture points of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Well, the Earth has Chakras, too. Ancient people spent a lot of time finding and marking these places. Some examples include the location of the Pyramids of Giza, Stonehenge in England, and Lake Titicaca in Peru.

Just like your body, the Earth also has a ton of minor Chakras… and your house may have been built on one.

In my article, “Top 4 Causes of Hauntings,” I explained what to do if your house has been built on a vortex:

If within days of laying the last brick on your house, you hear a disembodied voice telling you to “get out,” don’t fret – you probably just built your house on a vortex.

So what’s the fix?

There really isn’t one. Better luck next time.

There’s a really good chance that your demon is traveling back and forth through an inter-dimensional door located somewhere beneath your home. If that’s the case, I’m sorry to say, but you’re stuck with that sucker!

So unless you want to pick up stakes and pawn your house off on the next unsuspecting sap, you’d better get over your fear – quick, fast, and in a hurry!

In my experience, the fastest way to stop being afraid of something is lovingly embrace it with open arms. And that means you need to…

Seriously Consider Making Friends with Your Demon

I know it sounds crazy, but hear me out!

Most spiritual people understand the concept of a demon feeding on negative emotions. Most people who have a demon in their home are scared out of their wits half the time, and if you recall from earlier in the article, these folks are inadvertently stuffing their demon full of demonic Crème Brûlée.

All that negative energy is tweaking your demon out like a toddler hyped-up on Pixie Stix. The more afraid you are, the more powerful the demon becomes.

Eventually, you go from getting the creeps to getting migraines, and from hearing children laughing in your hallway to waking up with bruises on your throat.

Think back to all the cases of malevolent hauntings you’ve ever heard or read about. You will notice there is always a progression of bad feelings and negative events.

First, the new residents move in, totally or relatively unaware that there’s anything amiss in the home. After a few weeks, they start noticing little things: sounds of children running up and down the stairs, strange feelings of being watched, and never being able to find those pesky car keys.

All of this unsettling phenomena makes for some all around eerie vibes in the home, especially when the residents are home alone and have been searching all day for those frigging car keys!

Eventually, nervousness becomes anxiety, anxiety becomes fear… and that’s when the super scary stuff starts to happen.

The cupboards and drawers start opening on their own, the front door starts unlocking itself at night, and little Timmy starts complaining about shadow man with red eyes lurking in the corner of his room.

Soon after, the residents are waking up to the feeling of an unseen hand strangling them, only to meet the following day with bruises and scratches that weren’t there before.

This is a bad situation, and if you live in fear of your inter-dimensional house-guest, you can bet things are going to go from bad to worse.

But I have good news for you: the truth, which most people never come to thanks to religious indoctrination and years of watching horror movies, is that…

All Your Demon Really Wants Is Your Attention

Negative emotions are intense. If you’re going about your day doing your own thing, and the only time your demon can get your attention is when it throws something at you, then that’s what it’s going to do.

However, if you come home to your demon house and cheerfully say, “Hey, Demon Steve – I’m home,” Demon Steve is going to be less inclined to throw stuff at you.

Don’t believe me? Well, you should, because…

I Have Over 19 Years of Paranormal Experience

I have been doing this for a long time – way before ghost-box-wielding frat-boys made it cool. I’ve performed paranormal investigations on three different continents and have dealt with everything from demonic hauntings to demonic possession.

Religions would have you believe that the spirit world is black and white, and that demons are evil – plain and simple. But this attitude only promotes fear around the subject and blinds people to the scientific explanations for this phenomenon which quantum theory continues to support.

Whatever demons really are, they’re not mythical monsters or agents of Satan. They’re conscious entities which exist on an alternate plane which overlaps with our own. Anyone who has taken the time to study these entities without fear or bias will tell you that there is more to them then what religion and pop culture would have you believe.

Yes, it’s true that demons can choke you and scratch you and make your life a living hell. But these same entities, when approached with positive attention are capable of some legitimate acts of kindness.

I can’t tell you how many cases I’ve been involved in where a demon went from tormentor to protector in a matter of days, all thanks to a little attitude adjustment on the part of the living.

Whatever demons are, all they really want is your attention. If you can’t provide the loving attention I assume they need, then they will be forced to act out like angsty teens with supernatural powers.

In all probability…

Demons Are Everywhere

The Earth is full of energetic vortexes. Your house may be sitting on one and you might never know it. Technically, your house could be harboring a demon right now. In fact, it could be harboring multiple demons right now. But just because there’s a demon in your house doesn’t mean it’s going to act out negatively.

Maybe that’s because it thinks you’re too mellow to get a rise out of and doesn’t want to waste the energy it would take to chuck a candlestick at your head. Or, maybe you’re a closet comedian who crack jokes all day, and it gets its energetic nutrition from your near constant laughter.

Unless you get a Yankee Candle to the face, you’ll probably never know.

If you approach your demon with religion-fueled fear, things are only going to get worse. But if you have the guts to treat your demon like an old friend who’s visiting from out-of-town, you’re going to have a much more positive experience.

If you’ve yet to deal with a demon, there’s a good chance you never will. There may be something about your energy field that just says, “yeah… I’m not real good at making Crème Brûlée.”

If you are dealing with a demon right now, try switching up your approach. Instead of screaming in fear at the red-eyed shadow-figure lurking in the corner, just be like:

“Oh – hey, Demon Steve. You startled me for a second there. Did you catch the score of the Tigers game today? No? Yeah – I’m not a big baseball fan either. The new season of Game of Thrones comes out on DVD in a few weeks. I’m probably going to start a marathon of the first four seasons tomorrow night, if you wanna watch. Just let me know. I’ll make popcorn. Night, Demon Steve.”

I guarantee you, if have the guts to talk straight-faced to a red-eyed shadow-figure, not only will you leave your demon speechless, but that guy might just become your number one fan!

Just like real people, some demon-people are just hateful jerks. If you’ve already tried making friends with your inter-dimensional roommate, but he or she has become physically abusive, then it may be time for an exorcism.
